At Adroit Pro Audio, we aim to provide our customers with a clear, secure, and convenient purchasing experience. This policy outlines the accepted payment methods, procedures for order processing, and the terms governing returns and refunds for products purchased through our website or other official channels. By placing an order with Adroit Pro Audio, you agree to the terms set forth in this policy.

2. Payment Policies

  • 2.1. Accepted Payment Methods: Adroit Pro Audio accepts the following payment methods for online orders. Please note that availability may vary, and specific options will be presented during the checkout process.
    • Credit and Debit Cards: We accept major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. For security purposes and fraud prevention, orders paid via credit or debit card will typically be shipped only to the verified billing address associated with the card. Shipping to an alternate address may require additional verification steps, and Adroit Pro Audio reserves the right to request further information or ship only to the billing address at our discretion. By providing your card information, you authorize Adroit Pro Audio (or its designated payment processor) to charge the specified amount for your order. A temporary authorization hold may be placed on your card when an order is placed.
    • PayPal: We accept payments via PayPal. To ensure transaction security, customers using PayPal should ideally have a Verified PayPal account and utilize a Confirmed shipping address. Adroit Pro Audio reserves the right to cancel orders or request additional verification if these conditions are not met or if there are other security concerns. Orders paid via PayPal are typically processed promptly upon confirmation of payment receipt from PayPal.
    • Checks & Money Orders: Payment by personal check, business check, or money order may be accepted at the sole discretion of Adroit Pro Audio and typically requires prior arrangement. Orders paid via these methods will not be shipped until the funds have fully cleared our bank, which may take approximately 5-10 business days or longer from the date of deposit. Please contact our customer service team before sending payment via check or money order. Shipments will only be made to a verifiable address upon clearance.
    • Wire Transfers: For certain orders (often larger value or specific international orders), payment via bank wire transfer may be arranged. Please contact Adroit Pro Audio customer service directly to inquire about this option and receive detailed instructions. Orders paid via wire transfer will only be processed and shipped after the funds have been irrevocably confirmed as received by our bank, which typically takes 2-5 business days. Please note: Refunds for orders originally paid via wire transfer will typically be issued only as Adroit Pro Audio store credit.
  • 2.2. Payment Security: Adroit Pro Audio takes the security of your payment information seriously. Our website utilizes Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and partners with reputable payment processors who adhere to strict industry standards (like PCI DSS) to encrypt and protect your sensitive financial data during transmission. Adroit Pro Audio does not store your full credit card number on our servers after the transaction is processed.

  • 2.3. Order Confirmation: Upon successful placement of your order, you will receive an automated email confirmation containing your order details. This email serves as acknowledgment that we have received your order request but does not constitute final acceptance or confirmation of the order. Adroit Pro Audio reserves the right to cancel or limit any order for any reason, including but not limited to, product availability, errors in pricing or product descriptions, or concerns regarding payment fraud.

  • 2.4. Sales Tax: Applicable sales tax will be calculated and added to orders based on the shipping destination address and relevant state and local tax laws. For orders shipped within New Mexico, Adroit Pro Audio is required to collect New Mexico Gross Receipts Tax (GRT). Customers are responsible for any applicable sales, use, or other taxes associated with their order.

  • 2.5. Pricing and Availability: All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice. While we strive for accuracy, occasional errors in pricing or product availability may occur. In the event of a pricing error, Adroit Pro Audio reserves the right to cancel the order or contact you with the corrected price for your approval before proceeding.

  • 2.6. Payment Verification: Adroit Pro Audio reserves the right to implement additional verification measures for any order to protect against fraud. This may include requesting additional identification or documentation, particularly for high-value orders, orders shipping to addresses different from the billing address, or orders flagged by our security systems. Failure to provide requested information may result in order cancellation.

3. Returns and Refunds Policy

Adroit Pro Audio is committed to customer satisfaction. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you may be eligible to return the product subject to the terms and conditions below.

  • 3.1. Return Eligibility & Timeframe: Most new, unopened items may be returned within 14 days of the date you received the product for a refund or exchange, subject to the conditions herein. The product must be received back at our facility within this 14-day window.

  • 3.2. Condition of Returned Items: To be eligible for a full refund (less potential restocking fees, see section 3.8), returned items must be in new, unused, and resalable condition. This includes:
    • Being returned in the original, undamaged manufacturer’s packaging.
    • Including all original contents: manuals, accessories, cables, warranty cards, software, and any bundled items.
    • Showing no signs of wear, use, damage, installation, modification, or handling inconsistent with inspecting the item as one would in a retail store.
  • 3.3. Non-Returnable Items: Certain items are generally not eligible for return or refund, including but not limited to:
    • Software products where the seal has been broken or the software has been registered or installed.
    • Downloadable digital content.
    • Special orders, custom-configured items, or items marked as “Final Sale” or “Clearance.”
    • Consumable items (e.g., guitar strings, cleaning fluids, tape stock) if opened or used.
    • Personal items such as headphones, earphones, or microphones where hygiene is a concern, once opened.
    • Products damaged due to misuse, abuse, or improper installation by the customer.
    • Items missing the original packaging, accessories, or UPC code.
  • 3.4. Return Process - How to Initiate: To initiate a return, you must first contact Adroit Pro Audio Customer Service (via email or our website contact form) within the 14-day eligibility window. Please provide your original order number and the reason for the return.

  • 3.5. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA): If your return is preliminarily approved, you will be issued a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and specific return instructions. An RMA number is required for all returns. Please clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of the shipping box (not on the product packaging itself). Returns received without a valid RMA number may be refused and returned to the sender at their expense, or may experience significant processing delays.

  • 3.6. Return Shipping Costs: Customers are generally responsible for all costs associated with shipping the returned item back to Adroit Pro Audio, including appropriate packaging and shipping insurance. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method and insuring the package, as Adroit Pro Audio is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit. Original shipping charges paid by the customer are typically non-refundable. An exception applies if the return is due to an error by Adroit Pro Audio (e.g., defective product, incorrect item shipped), in which case we will typically provide a prepaid return shipping label or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs.

  • 3.7. Inspection and Refund Processing: Upon receipt at our facility, all returned items will be thoroughly inspected to verify their condition and eligibility according to this policy. Adroit Pro Audio reserves the right to refuse the return or adjust the refund amount if the item does not meet the required conditions. Please allow approximately 3-5 business days after the return is received and inspected for the refund or store credit to be processed. The time it takes for a refund to appear on your credit card statement or bank account can vary depending on your financial institution (typically 1-5 additional business days).

  • 3.8. Refund Method: Refunds will generally be issued back to the original method of payment used for the purchase. Exceptions:
    • Orders paid via Wire Transfer will typically be refunded as Adroit Pro Audio store credit.
    • Orders paid via Check or Money Order may be refunded via a company check issued by Adroit Pro Audio.
    • If the original payment method is unavailable (e.g., expired card), the refund may be issued via store credit or check at our discretion.
  • 3.9. Restocking Fees: Adroit Pro Audio reserves the right to charge a restocking fee on returned items, particularly if they are opened, show signs of minor use, or are missing original packaging or accessories, but are otherwise deemed resalable. The restocking fee, typically up to 15% of the product’s purchase price (but potentially higher depending on condition), will be deducted from the refund amount. You will be notified if a restocking fee applies to your return. No restocking fee will be charged for returns of defective merchandise or items shipped in error by Adroit Pro Audio.

  • 3.10. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items: If you receive an item that is defective out of the box, damaged during transit, or is not the item you ordered, please contact Adroit Pro Audio Customer Service immediately, preferably within 48 hours of receipt. Please provide your order number and detailed information about the issue (including photos if applicable for damage claims). We will work with you to arrange for a replacement, repair, or refund (including associated shipping costs) at our discretion and in accordance with manufacturer warranties. Do not discard packaging materials, as they may be needed for carrier claims.

  • 3.11. Exchanges: If you wish to exchange an eligible returned item for a different product, please follow the standard return process to return the original item and place a new order for the desired product. Alternatively, contact Customer Service to discuss exchange possibilities, which may be subject to product availability and potential price differences.

Adroit Pro Audio reserves the right to modify this Payments & Refunds Policy at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy indicates the latest revision date.
